About Lindsey

A collaborative path toward healing and growth

I'm passionate about our capacity for change. For more than fifteen years I've provided individual, family, and group therapy on the Central Coast, walking alongside people through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

Originally from South Lake Tahoe, I earned my graduate degree in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo — and fell in love with this community. In 2012, a personal cancer diagnosis changed the way I understand suffering. That experience gave me the ability to connect with the pain of others from a deeply personal place, and it shapes the warmth and honesty I bring to every session.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that you already carry the capacity for healing. I draw from existential therapy's focus on meaning, humanistic therapy's trust in the therapeutic relationship, and cognitive behavioral tools for changing the way we think — because when we change how we think about ourselves, we can change how we feel.

Specializations

Areas of focus

We all struggle at certain times in our lives or under the right circumstances. Therapy offers a place to slow down, take a breath, and work through what feels too heavy to carry alone. I work with adults, couples, and families across the Central Coast.
